When it comes to selling your home, presentation really is everything. The way your property feels can be just as important as the layout of rooms and the location. That’s where professional home staging makes all the difference.
We’re sharing a project with a truly incredible before and after transformation. One that shows just how powerful thoughtful, intentional staging can be. From the before photos to final offers, we’re sharing the process of what it took to transform this property into a buyers new home they couldn’t resist.
First impressions are crucial when it comes to selling your home. Research suggests that potential buyers form their first impressions of a property within the first eight seconds of stepping inside a home. These first few seconds are crucial to the buyers decision making process and why it is paramount to have your home perfect from the moment they enter. This is where professional Home Staging comes into play.
If we are assuming a buyer has formed a perception of a property within the first eight seconds, we can also assume they have not yet seen much of the home. This brings into question what are the determining factors contributing to a perception being made so quickly? Ambiance, initial layout, smell, lighting, furniture? All of these contribute to the overall feel of a home, particularly within the initial first few seconds, and getting these things right will increase your chances of selling to the right buyer.
Home Staging is the art of styling your home with intention and maximising your homes potential with curated, thoughtful furniture and design that compliments your property. Let’s take a look at some before photos of a home staging project where we completely transformed the clients home and lead to the successful selling of the property within 24 hours of completion.

This was the property before any home staging was completed. We noticed there were was an abundance of personal items in every room, a lack of colour cohesion throughout, and an overall lack of ‘wow’ factor in this magnificent home. Let’s take a look at the after photographs once home staging had been completed and the transformation that unfolded.

The after’s. Our home staging took this property from lacking the wow factor to within the first few seconds creating an impression of elegance, style, functionality and a true sense of Home. The buyer could immediately envision themselves living here once the personal items had been removed and replaced with elegant decor. Home Staging is all about the art of selling a lifestyle, an aspirational vision a buyer can buy into. We did that here and the results speak for themselves. Within 24 hours of us staging the property, the sale was agreed. This is the true power of intentional and purposeful design.
Remove any excess furniture, accessories, or everyday items that make the space feel crowded and cluttered. This can be items such as photo frames, excess cushions on sofas, one too many armchairs in the living room. A clean, tidy and refined living space will appeal more to potential buyers as it leaves room for them to imagine how a space might look, and ultimately how they might envision themselves living there.
In 2025, buyers want clarity and functionality. Is that nook a reading corner or a forgotten space with little purpose? By turning this nook into something intentional, such as a cosy reading corner or clever storage solution, we can give clarity and purpose to each space and elevate the buyers experience of the home. Ensure your furniture and accessories match the overall feel and design of the property. That old red sofa you’ve had since 1994 that looked chic at the time? Trends change fast and so making sure your decor feels timeless will increase your buyer appeal.
Consider the journey the buyer will go on as they enter your property. Have you considered natural lighting, mood lighting, candles and diffusers for boosting that scent memory, fresh flowers in vases. All of these small details when considered intentionally will dramatically boost buyer appeal and show that you have intentionally considered the finer details that make a home feel somewhere special. People take note of the finer details so be sure to consider these for that lasting wow factor.
